Dear patients and community members,
We are overwhelmed by the graciousness you have extended during this chaotic time in meeting the challenges of the COVID-19 outbreak in our local counties and state. Speaking on behalf of my staff at Pacific Rehabilitation Centers, we feel fortunate to have you by our side as we navigate the days and weeks ahead.
Serving Our Patients
The safety of our patients, staff and community prompted us to be the first Pain Management Program in Washington State to close temporarily for in-house clinical services on 3/16/2020 following an announcement the prior evening by Governor Inslee on necessary safety measures for the community. We take the health of those we serve as the utmost priority, and our medical staff is closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on our community, and the daily briefs by the Governor’s office, Centers for Disease Control, Department of Health, local hospitals and federal guidelines to remain vigilant and ready.
One of the original leaders in Telehealth Behavioral Health Services in our state, Pacific Rehabilitation Centers continues to be available to provide care for psychological counseling. The difference now is that injured workers are able to access services in the comfort of their homes through electronic devices such as cellphones, tablet devices, laptops or computers as they communicate in real-time with their psychologist. For non-English speaking patients, interpreter services continue to be available.
We are working daily with payers to determine the feasibility of offering our continuum of treatment programs, including the pain management program, through a Telehealth model. I will update here with any other changes as they are finalized.
We will contact patients individually for scheduling. We are working to be able to provide you with pain management program services in a new format in the safety of your home as our community meets the challenges of the COVID19 pandemic.
Thank you for trusting us with your care. We are here to support you in mind, body and spirit, and to see each other through safely! I will share more updates in the days to come.
