New statewide restrictions were announced in November 2020 due to the rapid increase in cases of COVID-19 in WA state. The restrictions are likely to remain through the winter or until the risk of overwhelming the healthcare system passes, and the rate of transmission lessens. Reducing viral spread is integral to maintaining the safety of our community.
At Pacific Rehabilitation Centers, we were the first to offer a telehealth option for the Pain Management Program in April of 2020. Our staff remains dedicated to your safety, and are pleased to offer individual telehealth appointments with our physicians, psychologists and physical therapists, as well as for the Structured Intensive Multidisciplinary Program. By focusing on outcomes, we have continued to excel in treating debilitating chronic conditions to allow healing and recovery. We feel fortunate to be the pioneers in telehealth pain management in the country, and continue to be committed to excellence through innovative methods of treatment.
If you are coming in to the clinic, we will continue to emphasize required distancing, daily checking of temperatures and symptoms, access to personal protective equipment including masks, faceshields and gloves, frequent sanitization of equipment and high-touch surfaces, and reminders about handwashing and hand sanitizer use. Our COVID-19 Safety Plan follows all required guidance and CDC/WA State Department of Health recommendations for strict measures that reduce the spread of the virus.
We believe in transparency, effective communication and continuous learning, and believe that our efforts together create safety for us all. I look forward to a time when such rigorous measures are safely in our past, but until then, we will maintain vigilance and remain dedicated to prioritizing the health of all our patients, staff and community.
We eagerly look forward to a time without distancing, but until then, stay safe and stay well!
