These relaxation exercises are designed to help us with managing the stress that often comes with pain. These exercises are supported by various research studies. In addition to recommended physical exercises, these relaxation techniques are widely used for chronic pain management. It is recommended to do at least one practice a day to establish the habit and to help reduce the mental and physical tension that can come with stress and chronic pain.
